West India Tour Package It is a special pilgrimage tour package covers many sacred places. Being capital of India and well connected with rest of the World, we begins our tour from Delhi. On arrival at airport, company representative will meet us and we will be transferred to our hotel in Delhi. Here we will relax for sometime. As per available time will proceed for Delhi city tour. As it is pilgrimage tour so we will visit Delhi city temples. Here we can find many popular temples like Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir), Akshardham temple, Lotus temple, Iskcon temple, Chatarpur temple, Kalkaji temple, Jhandewalan temple. Because of short time we may visit Akshardham temple, located on the bank of Yamuna river. It is a massive temple complex known for its beauty, sculptural work and grandness.

In this day we will take morning flight for Varanasi. It is also known by other names as Benaras and Kashi. On reaching Varanasi, we will move to hotel for lunch and after refreshment come out for sightseeing. Being having just one night stay in Varanasi so we will do the sightseeing in time bound way. Start form Temples visit in which we will visit important Varanasi city temples like Sankat Mochan temple, Durga Temple, Bharatmata temple. In evening visit to Ganga ghat. Here we will first visit famous Kashi Vishwanath temple and later proceed for boat ride to witness famous event of the day "Ganga Arti".

Wake-up early in the morning to do second boat-ride in Ganges river to witness sunrise and also see various Ganges ghats like Asi-ghat, Manikarnika ghat, Dasaswamedh ghat, Tulsi ghat etc. Return back to hotel to have breakfast, pack-up luggage and check-out from hotel. Now we will leave for Sarnath (10kms) to visit Archaeological park and Sarnath ASI museum. It is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his 5 disciples, after attaining enlightenment. From here we will move straight to Varanasi airport to take flight for Khajuraho. On reaching Khajuraho airport, taxi will be waiting for us to take to hotel. Here we will attend evening light & sound show offered in Western Group of temples complex in Khajuraho.

In this day we will begin the day with breakfast and then proceed for Khajuraho temples sightseeing. These temples were build in between 9th to 11th century during Chandela dynasty rule. These temples were scattered in large area but not few of them are remains. Khajuraho temple are made up of yellow sandstone carried from nearby Panna area. They are popular for their sculpture art and inclusion of eroticism as a one of the subject of sculpture art. Here we will find mainly Hindu and Jain temples. Later in afternoon we will drive to Jhansi railway station via Orchha visit. It is a beautiful historic small town on the bank of Betwa river. Here monuments of Bundela rulers can be seen which includes Fort, Palace, temples and river-side cenotaphs. In evening we will take overnight train for Ujjain.

By early morning, we will reach Ujjain railway station. It is a small but ancient living town on the bank of Shipra river. It was the important education center of Hindus and counted among top 4 places which includes Takshshila, Nalanda and Kashi (Varanasi). Its reference comes in many Hindu epics like Mahabharat etc. Here we will visit Jyotirlinga Mahakaleshwar temple. In addition to this we will also visit other places like Jantar Mantar, Sandipani ashram, Iskcon temple, do boat ride in Shipra river. Being a small town, here limited hotels are present so for luxury option, we may move to Indore city hotels.

DAY-06: UJJAIN - MAHESHWAR (160kms/03:30hrs)
After breakfast, we will drive to Maheshwar. It is located on the south of Ujjain town. Maheshwar is another important pilgrimage destination on the bank of famous Narmada river which is also called lifeline of Central India. Narmada river is much older river than Ganges and Himalayan ranges. Maheshwar tourist attractions includes temples, Maheshwar fort visit, boat ride in Narmada river and shopping of Masheshwari Sarees.

DAY-07: MAHESHWAR - MANDU (60kms/01:30hrs)
In this day we will drive further to north-west direction for reaching Mandu destination. It is a heritage tourism destination which was also known as "Shadiabad" which means "City of Joy". In Mandu history, love story of King Baz Bahadur and queen Roopmati is a prominent episode. It is a naturally beautiful and strategically site. Here we will see various monuments which includes, fort, palaces, mosques, temples, halls, gateways, gardens etc. Mandu was a secured township surrounded by wall to make it secure from attacks by rivals. Popular Mandu monuments includes Baz Bahadur palace, Jahaz Mahal, Roopmati pavilion, Hindola palace, Hoshangshah tomb etc.

DAY-08: MANDU - VADODARA (350kms/08:00hrs)
After breakfast, we will proceed to Vadodara city which is located in Gujarat state in West India. It is a long drive towards west direction. Here we will go via visiting World Heritage Site (declared in year 2004) Champaner Pavagadh Archaeological Park which is just 50kms before Vadodara. It is located on hills of Pavagadh. It was build by Sultan Mahmud Begada of Gujarat, during the period of 1484 to 1535. Ruins of Champaner are a madieval city "frozen in time" owing to its sudden desertion. Impressive landscapes and Indo-ismalic architectured monuments of pre-mughal era makes this place fabulous. These monuments includes fort, palaces, temples, mosques, tombs, residential complexes, gateways etc. Later we will proceed to Vadodara city.

DAY-09: VADODARA - AHMEDABAD (120kms/03:00hrs)
In this day we will proceed from Vadodara to Ahmedabad. This will be a surface drive in north-west direction. On reaching Ahmedabad city, we will get refreshed in hotel and later proceed for city tour. It is the largest city of Gujarat state and also a metro city where development and modernization can be experienced. Ahmedabad tourist attractions includes Akshardham temple, Sabarmati Ashram, Calico Textile museum, Isckon temple, Hathee Singh Jain temple, Swami Narain Temple etc. Spend evening by relaxing on riverfront of Sabarmati river.

DAY-10: AHMEDABAD - PALITANA (220kms/05:00hrs)
In this day we will proceed to Palitana pilgrimage site. It is located on south of Ahmedabad and known for collection of Jain temples on hill. It is a sacred place for Jain relion followers. Here first Jain thirthankar Lord Adinath climbed the mountain 99 times as he use to to meditation under Ryan tree. He attained salvation in this hill due to which it is a sacred place for Jain religion followers and due to this, more than 900 temples are built here at different times. Some of the prominent temples are Shatrunjay temple, Choumukh temple, Adishwar temple, Vallabhbhai temple etc.

DAY-11: PALITANA - SOMNATH (220kms/05:00hrs)
In this day of tour package, we will drive in south-west direction to reach Somnath pilgrimage destination. It is a sacred place for Hindu devotees. Here Somnath temple is the main attractions which is a Jyotirlinga temple. It is locate on the bank of Arabian sea. Simple meaning of Soamnath is "The protector of Moon God". This temple was always targetted by muslim forces due to which it was destroyed and re-built many time. It was counted among one of the richest temple of India due to which it was always targetted.

DAY-12: SOMNATH - DWARKA (100kms/03:00hrs)
In this day we will drive further from Somnath to Dwarka in north-west direction. It is a Hindu pilgrimage destination on the bank of Arabian sea. The place Dwarka is associated with Hindu God Krishna. It is believed that Lord Krishna left Mathura and shifted his Kingdom to Dwarka and spend rest of the life in this place. Later large part of city was submerged into sea water which is supported by under water studies. One of the Jyotirlinga temple is located here also. Here important temples to visit are Dwarkadheesh temple, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga temple, Iskcon temple, Sri Swaminarayan Temple etc.

DAY-13: DWARKA - GONDAL (100kms/03:00hrs)
In this day we will drive to 100 kms east to reach Gondal. It was a princely state, founded in year 1634 by Thakore Shri Kumbhoji I Meramanji from Jadeja dynasti. It lies on the bank of Gondali river. This town is known for heritage monuments and temples. Some of the popular tourist attractions in Gondal are Naulakha palace, Palace museum, Riverside palace, Juzoor palace, Vintage cars collection in Royal Garages etc. Here we will stay for single night only.

DAY-14: GONDAL - AHMEDABAD (260kms /05:30hrs)
In this day we will drive early in the morning from Gondal to Ahmedabad airport to take flight for Delhi. On reaching Delhi airport, drive to hotel. Rest of the time at leisure.

DAY-15: DELHI - Departure
This is our last day of tour package. As per available time, we will do some shopping or local visit in Delhi city and later proceed to Delhi airport for final departure.
