In this day we will cover all Delhi UNESCO World Heritage Sites i.e. Humayun Tomb, Red Fort and Qutab Minar present in Delhi. In addition to this we will have drive past through New Delhi region which comprises Parliament of India, President house, India Gate, Connaught Place market etc. All these New Delhi buildings were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyen due to which it region is also termed as Lutyen's zone.

DAY-03: DELHI - SHIMLA (370kms/08:00hrs)
In this day of tour package, we will proceed for reaching Shimla city in Himachal Praesh. It is located in north of Delhi. We can take direct taxi drive via Ambala, Chandigarh cities. Second option is to take taxi from Delhi to Kalka and futher undertake Himalayan Railways (UNESCO World Heritage Railways) narrow gauge train from Kalka to Shimla. It is a journey of 5-6hrs, running at a speed of 17kms/hr, offering some great scenes of hills and valleys. On reaching Shimla, transfer to hotel.

In this day we will do full day to Shimla tourist attractions. It is a capital city of Himachal Pradesh state and was summer capital of India during British India time. Its name Shimla is derived from local goddess Shyamala Devi. Till year 1819 Shimla was a mid-sized village and unknown in tourist map. Later British officers started visiting it for holidays. They liked this place very much and it gained popularity among British India officers. On becoming popular, here construction work initiated to build residential buildings, resorts so that they can stay during tours. It continued till many decades. During city tour we can still witness such British India time buildings which made this city called "The Heritage City". It is also a tourism hub as it is surrounded by series of tourist destinations around it like Kufri, Manali, Dharamshala etc. Here we will visit Kufri, Shimla Mall road, state museum, Christ Church on ridge.

DAY-05: SHIMLA - DHARAMSHALA (250kms/06:00hrs)
In this day we will drive from Shimla to Dharamshala which is located at north-west direction in Kangra valley. It is better known for residence of Dalai Lama in McLeodGanj and Central Tibetan Administration (Tibetan government in exile). Dalai Lama reached Dharamshala in May, 1960. It is a naturally scenic place in upper reached of Kangra valley, surrounded by dense forest of Deodar cedar trees. Recently it came in map of cricket world with the introduction of Dharamshala Circket Stadium in which domestic and international matches have been held.

In this day we will visit Dharamshala popular tourist attractions. Dharamshala places to visit includes Kangra Art Museum, Kangra fort, Norbulingka Institute, Tsuglag Khang complex, Namgyal monastery, Gyuto Monastery, Bhagsu fall, Dharamshala War Memorial. Their is Dal lake surrounded with Deodar trees in which we can enjoy boat ride. Those who are fond of trekking can fulfill their passion. DAY 07: DHARAMSHALA - AMRITSAR (210kms/06:00hrs)
In this day we will drive south-west direction from Dharamshala to Amritsar. With this journey, we will move from Himachal Pradesh state to Punjab state. By afternoon, we will reach our hotel in city. Later after lunch, we will proceed for to visit Amritsar city. It is a holy city for Sikh religion on North India. World famous "Golden Temple" also referred as "Harminder Sahib" is located in Amritsar. Tourists and devotees from all over the world comes to Amritsar to visit this shrine. In addition to Golden Temple, here Jallianwala Bagh is another important place to visit. Here large number of innocent and unarmed public was massacred by British India Police in year 1919.

DAY 08: AMRITSAR - PATIALA (250kms/05:00hrs)
In this day of tour package, we will proceed from Amritsar to Patiala city. It lies in south-east of Amritsar in Punjab city. It is a historical city and princely estate before Indian independence. Here city is spread around Qila Mubarak which means "Fort of Fortune", constructed in year 1763. Its history begins from year 1627 when ruled by Mohan Singh. Since then, Patiala city has seen many wars and different rulers from Jat and Sikh community. During British India time, here puppet Sikh rulers were ruling. Royal family of Patiala is still living here in Patiala palace. Here we will visit Moti Bagh Palace, Qila Mubarak Complex, Darbar Hall Museum, Sheesh Mahal, Bahadurgarh fort, Gurudwaras.

In this day we will continue to do Patiala sightseeing. Here list of places to see in long with large number of historical buildings reflecting the royal past of estate. In evening, after having dinner, we will just relax at hotel. Their is direct train service (all days) from Ambala Cantt (60kms from Patiala) to Jaipur. It reaches Amabala in mid-night so little bit inconvenient but it is the only option. We will take overnight train for Jaipur.

Here places to visit are World Heritage Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Hawa Mahal. etc. These forts and their complex area are massive and take lot of time to visit. Amber fort is a massive fort, 10 kms from Jaipur city. Their is Albert Hall Museum with city, built in 1876 to commemorate the visit to Prince of Wales Albert Edward.

DAY 12: JAIPUR - CHITTORGARH (310kms/07:00hrs)
After breakfast, we will proceed in south-west direction to reach Chittorgarh. It is popular for Chittorgarh fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage hill-fort of Rajasthan. We are likely to reach our hotel in Chittorgarh by afternoon. After lunch and small refreshment, we will do small evening visit to Chittorgarh Archaeological museum to get introduction of royal past of this place. It is a beautiful place located on the bank of Berach and Gambhiri rivers.

DAY 13: CHITTORGARH - UDAIPUR (130kms/03:00hrs)
Begin the day with breakfast and then proceed for Chittorgrah fort visit. It is a massive hill fort with history of many historical wars, sacrifices, bravery and jauhars (mass suicide by women & children during wartime when defeat seems confirm ). Chittorgarh is mainly ruled by Rajput clan Sisodaia and Gahlots. Till emergence of Udaipur city, it serves as capital of Mewar rule in this region. Chittorgarh tourist attractions like Rana Kimbha Palace, Padmini Palace, Vijay Stambh, Kirti Stambh, Fateh Prakash Palace, Meera Temple, Chittorgarh Fort Gateways etc. Chittorgarh fort is the epitome of Rajputs pride, bravery, romance, spirit and greatness. We will continue our visit till evening and later take evening transfer from Chittorgarh to Udaipur town. On reaching our hotel in Udaipur, just relax for rest of the time.

In this day we will do full day Udaipur sightseeing. It is a scenic honeymoon destination in Rajasthan. Udaipur is also called "City of Lakes" as number of natural and man-made lakes are around here. Udaipur was the capital city of Kingdom of Mewar. Sisodia rulers of Rajput clan have ruled over this region. Udaipur tourist attractions includes City Palace, Lake Palace, Monsoon Palace, Jag Mandir, Jagdish Temple etc. For those who have special interest in Forts, may undertake excursion tour to Kumhalgarh fort. DAY 15: UDAIPUR - AHMEDABAD (270kms/06:00hrs)
In this day we will proceed to our next destination Ahmedabad via Patan. Here we have chosen tour via Patan town to cover sightseeing of UNESCO World Heritage Site "Rani ki Vav". It is enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites in year 2014. Patan lies 130 kms north-west of Ahmedabad and 270kms south-west of Udaipur city. In this day we will enter from Rajasthan to Gujarat state of India. On visiting Rani ki Vav, we will reach Ahmedabad after sun-set so not more city activities could be done. If we bypass Patan visit then we have option to drive straight from Udaipur to Ahmedabad in south-west direction. Ahmedabad is located on the bank of Sabarmati river. It is one of the most developed city of West India. Before creation of Gandhinagar city, Ahmedabad served as capital of Gujarat state. Here we will do local city tour in rest of the day. Ahmedabad tourist attractions includes Akshardham temple, Sabarmati Ashram, Calico Textile museum, Isckon temple, Hathee Singh Jain temple, Swami Narain Temple etc. Spend evening by relaxing on riverfront of Sabarmati river.

In this day we will one of the most archaeological excavation site called Lothal. It is about 90kms from Ahmedabad city. Lothal was the important city of Indus Valley Civilization, dated 2400 BCE. It was excavated in year 1954 by Archaeological Survey of India. Here we will visit Archaeological Museum, where some of the most prominent collections of Indus-era antiquities in India are displayed. Later return back to city. In evening visit to Iskcon temple in city.

DAY 17: AHMEDABAD - VADODARA (120kms/03:00hrs)
In this day we will proceed from Ahmedabad to Vadodara city. Drive will be in south-east direction. Vadodara is also known by other name Baroda. Vadodara is a historical city whose first reference come in year 812 AD. It was a princely state till independence of India and now growing rapidly towards modernization. On reaching our hotel, just relax for sometime and later proceed for post lunch city tour in which we will visit Laxmi Vilas Palace, Kirti Stambh and Baroda Museum.

In this day we will do full day sightseeing of Champaner Pavagarh Archaeological park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, about 50 kms north-east of Vadodara city. It is again a collection of heritage monuments. These monuments and buildings were erected in between 1484 to 1535 during rule of Sultan Mahmud Begada of Gujarat. On visiting the ruins of Champaner we will experience the medieval city "frozen in time" owing to its sudden desertion. It is a photogenic place with impressive landscapes and Indo-ismalic architectured monuments. Being pre-mughal era monuments they posses special place. Champaner monuments are in good condition and includes fort, palaces, temples, mosques, tombs, residential complexes, gateways etc. In evening, return back to our Vadodara hotel.

DAY 19: VADODARA - MANDU (350kms/08:00hrs)
In this day we will drive from Vadodara to Mandu. It is located in West of Madhya Pradesh state. It is a long journey so we need to start from early morning. On reaching Mandu, relax at hotel. It is a scenic place offering photogenic landscape views of Malwa plateau and heritage monuments. If required, we may take a short drive to capture some sunset snaps.

In this day we will do full day Mandu sightseeing. It is a fortified ruined city with large number of heritage buildings and monuments. Its history takes us back to 555 AD. when it was a fortified township. It gained prominence in 10th & 11th century during Parmar's rule as "Mandavgarh". In current scenario, its history is linked with 16th century ruler Baz Bahadur and his queen Roopmati. Their love story is popular in this region. Here we can find variety of heritage buildings including fort, palaces, mosques, tombs, temples, gateways etc. Some of the popular attractions are Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Palace, Roopmati Pavilion, Hoshang Shah Tomb, Dai Ka Mahal, Asharfi Mahal, Jami Masjid etc. This site have been put in waitlist of UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.

DAY 21: MANDU - MAHESHWAR (45kms/01:00hrs)
Today we will drive to Maheshwar located at short distance in south-east direction. It is a small but important pilgrimage and historical township on the bank of holy Narmada river. In this Malwa region, Holkar dynasty ruled for long time and their marks can be seen in large region. At Maheshwar, they have their fort and palace on the bank of Narmada river and a prominent structure in this small town. Here main tourist attractions are temples, fort and boatride. One day is enough to visit this place. Some part of Maheshwar fort is now converted into a heritage hotel for tourists. Maheshwar is also known for Maheshwari sarees (traditional India ladies dress) and its handloom cottage industries are also visited by tourists during Central India tour packages. We will stay here for single night.

DAY 22: MAHESHWAR - JALGAON (290kms/06:30hrs)
In this day of tour package we will drive in south direction to Jalgaon city in Maharashtra state. We will start early in the morning so that manage to reach by afternoon to have sufficient time for evening sightseeing of Ajanta caves. It is close to UNESCO World Heritage site "Ajanta Caves" and have budget to medium hotel options. At the same time in order to avoid long drive from Aurangabad to Indore tourist sector (including Mandu, Maheshwar, Ujjain), Jalgaon is best night halt option. Here we will reach the city by afternoon. After lunch and short refreshment, we will do the evening visit to famous Ajanta caves site. Here main attractions are sculpture art, mural paintings. Visitor timing is 09:00hrs to 17:30hrs and Tuesday remains Closed for visitors. These caves were developed in between 2nd century BCE to 6th century AD.

DAY 23: JALGAON - AURANGABAD (160kms/04:00hrs)
After having breakfast, we will drive from Jalgaon to Ellora caves covering journey of 170 kms in south direction. It is another important UNESCO World Heritage Site close to Aurangabad city. Tourists from many countries visits Ellora caves. Visitor timing is 09:00hrs to 17:30hrs and Tuesday remains Closed for visitors. Here we will do the guided caves visit and may have lunch. Recently its replica site has been developed close to it for convenience of guests. Later we will drive further 30kms to reach our hotel in Aurangabad city.
On feeling tired of many days surface travels, today we will take morning flight from Aurangabad to Mumbai city. It is a bustling port city and business capital of India, located in West India. This day is for relaxation. We will do short visit to UNESCO World Heritage Site i.e. Victoria Terminus building, which is a popular railway station. It was British India time building and later renamed as "Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus". Rest of the time at leisure.

In this day we will do the surface sightseeing of Goa in which we will visit the countryside of Goa to get close of of its Anglo-Indian culture and life-style. It is a leisure tourism destination of India. In past Goa was a Portuguese colony since 16th century till 1961, when it was annexed to India. This 450 years of colonial impact has resulted into a western culture in this small state. During local visit we will visit UNESCO World Heritage "Churches of Goa" which were made during colonial period. In evening we will take overnight train from Madgaon railway station to Ernakulam railway station so that on next morning we will reach Cochin city.

DAY-28: COCHIN - ALLEPPEY (60kms/01:30hrs)
In this morning, we will reach Ernakulam railway station. It is the nearest railway station for reaching Kochi / Cochin city. From here we will have taxi transfer for Alleppey/Alappuzha, located in south of Cochin. Alleppey is a popular backwater tourism destination. Take evening houseboat cruise ride in backwater of Alleppey. Tourists also visit this place for Ayurveda massage therapy. Here night can be spend in houseboat also.

DAY-29: ALLEPPEY - THEKKADY (150kms/04:00hrs)
Spend the day in Alleppey local sightseeing which involves visit to local villages, houseboat cruise ride tour, local temples etc. After lunch, we will drive from Alleppey to Thekkady, located in east of Alleppey in Kerala state. It is a popular wildlife destination for visiting Periyar National Park.

In this day we will take morning safari ride in Periyar national park which is also a popular tiger reserve and elephant sanctuary. After lunch we will drive in eastern direction for reaching Maduari city in Tamilnadu state. It is a popular pilgrimage city known for typical South-Indian temples and culture. On reaching Madurai, spend evening while relaxing at hotel.

DAY-31: MADURAI - TRICHY (145kms/03:30hrs)
In this day we will do full day Madurai sightseeing in which we will visit popular tourist attractions like Meenakshi Amman Temple and Tirumalai Palace (built in 1636 AD). In evening we will drive to Trichy in north-east direction. It is another popular cultural destination.

After breakfast, we will proceed to visit UNESCO World Heritage Site "Great Living Chola Temples" of Thanjavur. Visit of South India is incomplete without visiting Thanjavur as it is a important center of South Indian art, culture and architecture. Brihadeeswarar Temple, built in 11th century by Chola king Raja Raja-1 is a important tourist attraction about whom famous historian Percy Brown described as "Landmark in evolution of building art in South India". During those days Tanjore was capital of Chola empire. Just like temples, "Tanjore Painting" also have its unique identity and popularity. In addition to temples, Thanjavur Fort and Maratha palace where royal family members still resides. In evening we will drive to Puducherry / Pondicherry (175kms) for overnight stay.

In this day we will move from Pondicherry to Mahabalipuram. After breakfast, we will have a short beach tour of Pondicherry. Since year 2006 it was renamed as Puducherry. It is a medium sized educational city of South India which had a colonial past. It was colony of Dutch, Portuguese, English and French. Here its four beaches are popular tourist attractions with some ancient buildings of colonial era. By afternoon, we will drive from Pondicherry to Mahabalipuram to visit its sculptured group of monuments. This group is a UNESCO World Heritage site and visited by tourists from all over the world. These monuments are mostly rock-cut and monolithic and reflects Buddhist elements in Dravidian architecture. They constitutes cave temples, monolithic chariots, structural temples and sculpted reliefs. Mahabalipuram Group of monuments have visiting hours as 6:00 to 18:00hrs.

In this morning, we will drive to Chennai Airport (IATA Code:MMI) to take flight for Bhubaneshwar. Their are two ways to reach Bhubaneshwar i.e. by train and by flight. Train will take approx. 24hrs time to reach Bhubaneshwar. Their is no direct flight in between these two cities but still it will save our much time. Here we will opt 1-stop flight from Chennai to Bhubaneshwar. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

DAY-35: BHUBANESHWAR - PURI (60kms/01:30hrs)
In this day, we will visit holy city Puri which is located 60kms south of Bhubaneshwar city. After breakfast, we will drive from Bhubaneshwar to Puri. On reaching our hotel, do some refreshment and have lunch. Later we will proceed for Puri sightseeing in which we will visit famous Jagannath temple complex and do evening beach visit. Here Jagannath temple is one among 4 important places of Char-dham yatra which Hindus have to do once in their life time. This temple was built during 11th and 12th century by Kalinga rulers.

In this day we will visit UNESCO World Heritage Konark Sun Temple complex which is located 35kms east of Puri. It is a 13th century Sun temple at Konark and also known as Black Pagoda. It was built by King Narsimhadeva-I of Eastern Ganga Dynasty. It was built in a form or ornamented gigantic chariot of Sun God. It has 12 pairs of elaborately carved stone wheels pulled by seven horses. It reflects Kalinga architecture. Later in evening we will return back to Puri. In evening we will take flight from Bhubaneshwar airport to Kolkata city.

In this day we will take morning flight from Kolkata to Guwahati airport which is located in Assam state of India. On reaching airport, we will have taxi transfer from Guwahati to Kaziranga. Distance from Guwahati to Kaziranga is 220kms / 05:00hrs. We will reach our resort by afternoon. After lunch, we will proceed for our wildlife expedition tour. We will first take elephant safari ride followed by jeep safari. Kaziranga national park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and better known for home of two-third of One-horned Rhinoceroses in the world. It has a history of successful One-horned Rhinocerose conservation yet poaching is still a main challenge for One-horned Rhinos and Forest Department.

In this day we will attend morning elephant safari in Kaziranga forest. Later we will attend both morning and afternoon jeep safaris. Here Elephant safari is important to undertake as being located in Brahmaputra river valley, their are large number of marshy area in park having tall grasslands. Vehicle accessibility to such areas are difficult. In such case, Elephant safari is the best way to get access to such areas for wildlife sighting. Here main wildlife attractions are One-horned Indian Rhinos, Tigers, Leopards, Barasingha, Wild Asiatic Water Buffalo, Gibbons, Spotted-deer, Hog Deer, Muntjac, Sambar, Wild Boar, Indian Gaur etc. Similarly more than 479 birds species makes this park as Important Bird Area by Birdlife International. In monsoon season, park remains closed for visitors.

In this day we will conclude our Kaziranga wildlife tour and return back to Kolkata city by flight. After breakfast, we will take taxi transfer from Kaziranga to Guwahati airport to take flight for Kolkata. On reaching Kolkata, transfer to hotel. After lunch and little bit relax, we will proceed to visit famous Victoria Memorial Hall. It is open for visitors from 10:00 - 17:00hrs and closed on Every Monday. It was made in memory of Queen Victoria, died on year 1901. It is a historical museum with garden area. Its work started in January, 1906 and opened for public in year 1921. Kolkata is also known for Bengali sweets so do not forget to have taste of Bengali dishes in Kolkata.
